I was inspired to start a series of Exquisite Corpse collages utilizing Audubon’s Book of American Birds after a trip to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.

Realizing that after being inspired by the Surrealist game for so long with my ceramic practice I hadn’t actually played the game myself with imagery.

The titles of the collages also work in tandem with the game by synthesizing Audubons’ descriptions of each panel.
